Are you searching for fun things to do near Charleston, SC? Look no further! The team at Charleston Fun Park has put together a list of fun events you won’t want to miss. Take a look:
- Visit the Mount Pleasant Farmer’s Market – On Tuesday afternoons, stop by your local farmer’s market for local flowers, baked goods, and fresh produce! This market is located at Moultrie Middle School and will be open from 3:30 pm to 7 pm.
- Enjoy Concerts in the Courtyard – Every Wednesday, you’ll want to load the kids in the car and head to the Freshfield’s Village Courtyard from 5 pm to 7 pm. You’ll enjoy live music, pop-up art, games, and more! (If you have a dog, feel free to bring him too!)
- Book a Family-Focused Tour – The Historic Charleston Foundation hosts family-focused tours throughout the summer to keep kids learning despite being out of school! The 30-minute tours are available between 10:30 am and 12:30 pm. The cost is $12 per adult and $5 per child aged 6 to 16 (children under 6 are free).
- Discover the Charleston Farmer’s Market – If we could, we’d go to a farmer’s market every day of the week (so we thought we’d put this on the list twice). This market takes place every Saturday from April 14 to November 24, 2018, and it attracts 100+ vendors each week! You can grab lunch, buy groceries, purchase gifts, or just enjoy the live music.
After visiting all the farmer’s markets, taking historic tours, and enjoying concerts in the courtyard, head to Charleston Fun Park for some playtime! We have attractions for the whole family – putt-putt golf, go-karts, bumper cars, and an arcade, just to name a few. We hope to see you soon!
