September is about more than just back to school events. Did you know there are many holidays to recognize important causes this month? Between National POW/MIA Recognition Day on September 15th and the International Day of Charity on September 5th, we at Charleston Fun Park thought this month would be a great one to celebrate the men and women of the US armed forces.
Join us for Putt-Putt for the Fallen all through the month of September! From September 1 – 30th, for every $8 round of putt-putt purchased at our facility, we’ll donate $1 to an organization to support the families of the fallen and those currently serving. Did you know that up to 10% of South Carolina’s adult population are veterans? With the military base in Charleston, chances are good you know someone who is serving or has served.
Charleston Fun Park is the home of two awesome 18-hole putt-putt courses, each themed to the spirit of this beautiful city. Either course makes for a challenging but fun game, and both are appropriate for kids to adults. Last year we were voted the #1 Mini-Golf in Charleston by the 80,000 people who enjoyed our courses last year. If we get just a fraction of those visitors during Putt-Putt for the Fallen in September, think how much we’ll be donating together!
Check out our hours to see when you can join us for this great fundraisers, and don’t forget to follow Charleston Fun Park on Facebook to keep track of specials, discounts, and other fun events.
